100% wool.
A pure wool weave with natural warmth and texture — insulating, breathable, and built for everyday use. Soft against the skin and easy to live with day-to-day.
Woven double-faced — both surfaces finished, so there is no right or wrong side. It reads the same folded back over itself as it does laid flat.

Care: Dry clean only. Skip the washing machine and the tumble dryer — wool firms up and shrinks a little in a warm, moving wash, and it does not relax back. Airing between uses is most of the upkeep; blot spills rather than rubbing. For pilling, spills, and storage, see our Care Guide.

577 g/m² of pure wool with a short, close pile — a dense cloth with real weight to it. Wide enough to cover a lap and both knees on a sofa, and heavy enough to stay on the shoulders without being held. Double-faced, so there is no wrong side when it folds back over itself. Made for all genders and body types.

Will the Hush wool blanket feel soft, or will it feel like wool?

Like wool. Hush is 100% wool with a short, close pile — it has body and texture, and it is not fleece. Among wool blankets it sits at the firmer, more substantial end, which is what lets it stay where you put it. Over pyjamas or a sweater that is exactly the point. If what you want is something gentle directly against a bare arm or leg, Lilt blends lambswool with cashmere and Veil has a long brushed surface; both are softer in the hand at the same size.
Will the Hush throw cover me on the sofa?

47 × 59 in / 120 × 150 cm — a personal throw rather than a bed blanket. It covers a lap and both knees with room to tuck in at the sides, or wraps around the shoulders while you are seated. It will not do both at once. Over the end of a bed it works as an extra layer, not as full coverage.
How often does a Hush wool blanket need dry cleaning?

Less often than you would expect. Hush is dry clean only, but wool does not hold odour the way cotton does, so airing it — a few hours somewhere shaded, out of direct sun — is the normal maintenance. Deal with spills on the spot rather than sending the whole piece out. Most throws need professional cleaning once a season at most, and many go longer.
How do I protect the Hush wool blanket from moths?

A real risk with any wool, and worth two minutes of your attention. Moth larvae feed on the skin oils, sweat and food traces held in the fibre more than on the wool itself, so a piece that goes into storage clean is a far poorer meal than one that does not. Keep it somewhere it can breathe — a cotton bag, a drawer, a shelf — rather than anywhere that traps moisture. Cedar and lavender deter; they do not treat. If you suspect a piece, seventy-two hours in a sealed bag in the freezer kills larvae and eggs. Look in on stored wool a couple of times over the summer: by the time an adult moth appears, the damage is usually well under way.
Will the Hush wool blanket pill or shed?

Hush's short, close pile settles quickly and sheds very little — noticeably less than a long brushed surface like Veil's. Any wool will form small pills where it rubs regularly, at the back of a sofa or under a bag strap, and that is friction rather than a fault. A comb or a sweater stone lifts them off in a minute; pulling them by hand takes good fibre with them.
Is the Hush blanket really 100% wool?

Yes, and checked by someone other than us. A third-party textile laboratory tested this cloth for fibre content by AATCC Test Method 20 — the American standard for identifying fibres — and found it 100% wool. A 100% claim gets no tolerance, unlike a blend, so that result means exactly what it says.
What does Hush in Dark Olive Gray go with?
