1. Order Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays) after payment confirmation.

During peak seasons, promotions, or product launches, processing may take up to 3 business days.

If there’s any delay (e.g. inventory issue), we’ll notify you by email as soon as possible and provide a revised estimate.

2. Shipping Destinations & Carriers

We ship across the continental U.S., plus Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories (with extended delivery times).

International shipping is currently not available / (or: available to select countries — list them here).

We partner with reliable carriers such as USPS, FedEx, and UPS.

Carrier choice depends on your address, dimensions, weight, and shipping speed you select.

*Delivery times are estimates and begin after order processing. Local delays (weather, carrier constraints) may affect the actual time.

4. Shipping Rates & Free Shipping Threshold

We offer free standard shipping on orders over $300

For expedited or overnight options, rates are calculated at checkout

For very heavy orders (multiple throws), shipping cost will reflect weight/box size.

5. Multiple Items / Combined Orders

If you purchase multiple throws in one order, they’ll ship together unless dimensional/weight constraints force separation.

We’ll always aim to minimize shipping cost and packaging waste.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order is fulfilled and handed over to the carrier, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number/link.

You can use that link to monitor your shipment’s progress.

7. Delivery Issues & Liability

Murmurs by Unmute is not liable for carrier delays due to weather, natural disasters, or carrier disruptions.

If your shipment is marked as delivered but you did not receive it, please contact the carrier to file a claim

We cannot be responsible for stolen packages if the carrier confirms delivery to the address on record.

8. Lost or Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, refuse it from the carrier or take photos of the damaged packaging and contents. Then contact us within 7 days of delivery.

We’ll file a damage claim with the carrier and send a replacement (or refund) as appropriate.

For lost packages, once the carrier confirms loss, we will resend or refund.

9. International Shipping (If applicable)

(If you enable international) You are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other charges upon delivery.

We cannot mark items as “gifts” or under-value packages.

International delivery times vary — typically 7–21 business days, depending on destination and customs.

10. Returns & Exchanges

In short: returns must be postmarked within 7 days, in original condition, with tags intact.

Exchanges (size, color) may incur additional shipping.

11. Packing & Presentation

Every throw is packaged with protective materials (fabric bag, tissue wrap, shipping box) to ensure premium unboxing experience.

Packaging will include return label instructions & care instructions for the throw.
